MY GA is smokin' somethin'!

Hey everyone

Just wanted you to know that my MRI was rescheduled for tomorrow. UGH!

I got all the way out there this morning and even climbed into the stupid thing.

Believe it or not - the dang thing broke 5 minutes later!

Evidently it happens ONCE A YEAR? Is someone playing a joke on me?

I really think my GA (Guardian Angel) is smokin' something. Maybe it is the almighty Gabrielle (then I could call him my GAG - that would be fitting huh?)

My hubby groaned when I told him. Because as some of you know, I have some weird ongoing battle with anything electronic - especially right now? And guess what? I think Mercury is in retrograde or is it Venus- AHHHH!

Anyway - even though it stinks I have to go back again and wait another day, I actually laughed. It is just like my GAG to pull something like this. He thinks he is soooooooo funny.

All I can say is: hardy har har to you!

I am definitely bummed b/c I want this thing to be over and done with - but what are you gonna do. It wasn't the poor technician's fault. He said to me - "Keep in mind it is man-made."

Well - isn't that just always the problem? Men? Ha! Maybe if woman made things we would be better off? (Just kidding guys!)

Anyway, I don't have time to do a real post today b/c I gotta get my kids, but Ill post tomorrow afternoon.

Thanks for all the well wishes! You guys are awesome!

Oh - and GA? Thanks for keeping me on my toes!

Just remember, payback is a B#$%2! ;)

PS Doesn't everyone's GA loo like this? Too bad for you :)

Well, your GA may have a wonky sense of humor, but at least he's hot. Mine looks like Richard Simmons. :)

Aw, man! I'm sorry. What a drag. I love that you can find the humor in it and the whole GAG thing. Great pic of your Guardian Angel though. I could never have one like that because I'd be um...way too distracted.

Wow you made a MRI blow a fuze! You are powerful!
That is some weird luck!
Woo Woo to your Smokin Angel. Was he looking in a mirror and forgot about you in the MRI? Tell him he owes you and to fix the *@$#%* MRI!

So, do you know when you'll be rescheduled for? Isn't it funny when things like this happen, you think, "Gawd if I put that in my book people would say it's not believable!"

Woops, red-faced with embarassment. Just re-read it and it says--right there, underlined--that you're scheduled for tomorrow. Sigh. sorry about that. I was focusing on the lower part of your post.

Sorry I was elsewhere yesterday and missed sending you positive thoughts. I do hope you'll get the MRI the next time you try. My hubby had a similar problem and we went through a really scary phase where we thought it could be something awful (as if being off balance nearly all the time isn't awful in and of itself). But, you know what I mean. Anyway, check out the canalith maneuver if you can. It seemed to help some. His neurologist suggested it and did the first maneuver in the office. I'll be thinking about you. Gotta figure out how to get rid of some of the stress ... it will definitely kill you. Early.

I was elsewhere, too, yesterday and missed the post. I'm so sorry that you're having to deal with this. Remember this, perfect love casts out fear. That GAG may be funny, but he loves mightily! And so do the rest of us. You're in my thoughts and prayers.

Just want to say I had very interesting dreams last night about a guy that looked suspiciously like your GA. All I can say is, uhm...., thanks!

Sorry about that. It is hard to wait another day but look at it this way. What if; the thing had broken down just five minutes before the test was over?? All info wiped out. See, now you're smiling. I hope! :) Good luck tomorrow, Shelli!! Sending good vibes to you.

Wow! Your contest must be working. I see lots of new commenters here. I'm glad Anoop survived last night. he made a terrible song choice, but I still like him. Also have a little crunch on Kris. Let us know how it goes today. Will you have to wait a while for results? Waiting is so hard!

Shelli,
Sorry about the delay. Hopefully everything will go perfectly smooth today. Wish my GA looked like that. Tina

By the way, did you remember to thank your GA for the successful MRI? I'd take any excuse to talk to him... :)
